Dr. David Sarfo Ameyaw, is currently the CEO/President of International Center for Evaluation and Development and Adjunct Scholar, ISSER, University of Ghana. A board member of both BASIS Assets and Market Access Innovation Board and ATAI. He has worked as Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation Director for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). Prior to this, he had been working as the Acting Senior Director in the Monitoring, Evaluation and Economics Unit of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Washington, DC. Dr. Ameyaw worked for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Silver Springs, Maryland, USA, where he served as Associate Director for Food Security and Child Survival Programs, and also as Director for M&E.

He has management and leadership Skills in Agriculture and Food Security Programs. He also is experienced in Strategy, Research, Learning and Evaluation, Research and Rigorous Impact Evaluation in Food Security and Food Systems, Program Performance Evaluation and innovation, Project Identification, Formulation and Implementation.  Dr. Ameyaw has over twenty years ‘experience in program and impact evaluation, direct project design, and management. He has strong research and analytical background. He has participated and conducted several research projects and evaluation, which have resulted in publications in refereed journals. He was the founding Managing editor for the Africa Agriculture Status Report and also editorial board member of the Africa Evaluation Journal. In addition, he worked in several other senior international management positions in Haiti, Ghana and other parts of Africa, Europe, Asia and South America.
