Research Fellow

Dr. Kwame Adjei-Mantey is an economist and research fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research, University of Ghana. His research interests broadly cover environmental economics and climate change, economics of energy poverty and energy transitions, behavioral economics and program evaluation. His research investigates household energy use and energy poverty, environmental quality, the interplay between air pollution and health, risk behavior in household decision making and welfare issues. He holds a PhD (Economics) from the Graduate School of Economics, Kobe University, Japan and a Master of Philosophy (Economics) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
