Mrs. Bernice Agyeiwaa Boateng undergraduate studies were in Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Psychology and Social Work and Master of Philosophy (Mphil) in Social Work both from the University of Ghana. She also received a highly competitive Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program (CCSP) award in 2010 as Mphil Exchange student at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Bernice worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Social work for two years.
She has worked in various capacities with a number of non-governmental organizations such as Ipas International- Accra, Women Initiative for Self-Empowerment (WISE), Domestic Violence for Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), and Federation for Women Lawyers (FIDA). Currently, she is a faculty member in the School of Social Science at Central University and vice secretary of the Ghana Association of Social Workers. Her research interests include mental health and community development.
