John Kofie Anoku is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana. John holds a PhD in Development Studies (Nelson Mandela University, South Africa); MPhil in Science and Technology Studies (Stellenbosch University, South Africa); MSc in International Business & Emerging Markets (University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK); MSc in Computing (University of Liverpool & Liverpool Hope University, England, UK); and BA (Hons) in Linguistics and Philosophy (University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana).
Pierre Girard holds a PhD in Economics from the Univeristy of Montpellier (France). He works at CIRAD, the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development, whose mandate is to produce and disseminate knowledge and innovations and contribute to capacity building in support of agricultural development in the Global South. Pierre Girard is been posted to ISSER since mid-2023.
Michael Kodom’s research interest focuses on assessing the interlinkages between digitalization and development. His substantive research areas include digital financial inclusion, health, and gender. He has published in Enterprise Development and Microfinance, and the Journal of Asian and African Studies. He holds a PhD and MPhil in Development Studies and a BA in Political Science, and Geography and Resource Development, all from the University of Ghana.
Dr Guillaume Soullier is a researcher specialized in Agricultural Economics. He works at CIRAD, the French research centre for agricultural development, whose mandate is to produce and disseminate knowledge and innovations and contribute to capacity building in support of agricultural development in southern countries.
Gertrude Dzifa Torvikey, holds PhD in Development Studies from the University of Ghana. She is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the same university. Her research interests are in critical agrarian studies, political economy of agrarian change, rural livelihoods, and migration. Her research works over the years have focused on gender, class, land, and labour relations in agrarian areas. In recent times, she has taken specific interest in class struggles in rural areas.
Nana Amma Asante-Poku is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana. Her research interests are in international trade, agricultural value chains, gender and development, new institutional economics and education. She holds a PhD in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics from the University of Ghana and a BA in Economics with Geography and Resource development, also from the University of Ghana.
