Mr. Alfred Godwin Adjabeng, an MA student in Development Studies at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, has won the highest and most prestigious award the of the year at the 2018 African Youth SDGs Summit, held at the Accra International Conference Centre. Mr. Adjabeng received a certificate and a plaque given by Dr. Isatou Jallow of the UN World Food Programme. In response, Mr. Adjabeng expressed his excitement and hope that the award will galvanize his team to work harder to serve the communities they operate in. The African Youth SDGs Summit is a platform for the youth from across Africa and beyond. It provides the opportunity to discuss and assess the implementation of continental commitments to the SDGs, and for sharing ideas, providing critiques, and challenging governments to deliver on their promises.
