The Institute of Statistical, Social, and Economic Research (ISSER) is delighted to announce our role as a co-organizer and host of this year's Evidence to Action Conference (E2A2024). Themed "Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation," E2A2024 will convene academics, policymakers, students, industry players and environmental advocates from across the globe to deliberate on the latest evidence and strategies to propel climate resilience and adaptation efforts forward. Scheduled from July 22nd to 26th, it comprises two days of pre-conference events/side events and a three-day conference and exhibition.

"ISSER is pleased about our continued involvement in the E2A conferences by the International Center for Evaluation and Development (ICED). E2A2024 is an opportunity for us to join forces with like-minded institutions in pushing forward the Institute’s commitment to championing evidence-driven decision-making and contributing to achieving a climate-resilient society, “stated Prof. Peter Quartey.

Building on the success of its inaugural hosting in 2019, ISSER stands ready to make significant contributions to the success of E2A2024. Leveraging the Institute’s strong convening power and collaborative ability in hosting successful policy advocacy events, ISSER is poised to ensure a fruitful conference experience.

"In addition to the invaluable learning connections that will be fostered, attendees can anticipate warm hospitality and the chance to immerse themselves in the scenic environment of the University of Ghana and ISSER, discovering the vibrant campus life and the rich Ghanaian culture," Prof. Quartey further added.

ICED has organized the E2A conference every year since 2018, with partnering institutions co-hosting alternately each year. Under the primary hashtags #E2A2024 and #E2AbyICED, the conference promises to be an enriching experience, bringing together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to address pressing issues of resilience and climate change adaptation.
