The Institute of Statistical, Social, and Economic Research (ISSER) is set to officially launch a state-of-the-art Digital Centre, designed to enhance learning and research resources. Equipped with high-speed internet, advanced digital tools, and comfortable workstations, the centre provides an ideal space for individual learning and group training sessions.

The launch of the Digital Centre will take place on 16 September 2024, coinciding with the start of the 2024 Data Management and Analysis Short Course. This short course is part of the annual ISSER Short Courses Programme, and will be the first group training session held in the facility. This course offers professional training in advanced data management techniques, reinforcing ISSER’s commitment to providing quality training for students and professionals.

Located within the ISSER Office Complex and Digital Centre (OCDC), this new facility is part of a broader initiative to expand ISSER’s resources. In addition to the Digital Centre, the OCDC features an ultra-modern library, work and relaxation spaces, and a gymnasium, among other amenities. These additional facilities, some of which are still undergoing final works, are designed to support research and training while also promoting a healthy work-life balance for students, staff, and faculty.

“The Digital Centre is a testament to ISSER’s commitment to providing world-class facilities that enhance learning, research, and the overall development of our students and professionals,” said Prof. Peter Quartey, Director of ISSER.
