Participants from leading institutions join ISSER’s 2024 Research Methodology and Report Writing Short Course

The 2024 Research Methodology and Report Writing Short Course at ISSER commenced on September 2, welcoming participants from respected national and international organisations. Spanning two weeks, the course offers in-depth understanding of the latest techniques in research proposal development, methodologies and report writing.

Led by experienced faculty from ISSER and other experts, the curriculum covers advanced methods in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. Beyond acquiring these skills, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen existing networks and forge new connections with both ISSER faculty and fellow attendees.

ISSER Director, Prof. Peter Quartey emphasised the importance of these programmes, stating, “Continuous professional development is crucial for career advancement and organizational excellence. The ISSER Short Courses Programme is a testament to our commitment to training and nurturing skilled professionals. By offering access to our expertise and resources, we support organisational growth and contribute to national development.”

This year’s participants come from various sectors including the National Commission on Culture (NCC), Judicial Service, German Development Cooperation, SSNIT, the Institute of Development and Technology Management, University of Ghana School of Public Health, Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) MTN, GIRSAL Ltd, CHRAJ, and Trust Logistic Ltd.

The current course builds upon the success of the Executive Leadership Programme in Monitoring and Evaluation for Public and Private Sectors Short Course that was held from April 8 to 19, 2024.
