The maiden edition of the Executive Leadership Programme in Monitoring and Evaluation, in the 2019 series of short courses run by the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, ended on 24th May, 2019. The two-week course was attended by 30 participants from both public and private institutions and companies. Participants were taken through intensive training that linked theory to practice in Monitoring and Evaluation in public and private sectors. The course also provided practical understanding of elements needed to implement effective monitoring and evaluation plans in public and private organizations. In his closing remarks, the Director of ISSER, Prof. Felix Ankomah Asante thanked participants for choosing ISSER and urged them to put the knowledge they have acquired into practice to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation activities at their workplaces. He commended the participants for their participation and encouraged them to share feedback with ISSER and be in touch with the Institute all the time. Prof. Felix Asante stated that the good remarks by participants about the organization of the course, the content, and output of facilitators have been appreciated and well noted. Giving their impressions participants highly praised ISSER for the caliber of facilitators and enriched course content as well as excellent delivery. According to them the practical exercises and presentations were interesting and insightful. The Short Courses Coordinator, Dr. Cynthia Addoquaye Tagoe assisted the Director to present certificates to participants. Research Methodology and Report Writing programme starts on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
