The spacious conference facility of ISSER was the venue for the 2023 global gathering of the Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy Research, Capacity, and Influence (PRCI) which took place from 25 to 27 April 2023. Over 100 representatives from PRCI centres and partner institutes took part in plenary and breakout sessions, and panel discussions, sharing their achievements and best practices and engaging in discussions that were valuable in creating positive outcomes for the participants and member institutes.

A key part of the activities was the launch on 25 April of the Comprehensive Africa Climate Change Initiative (CACCI) in Ghana, a project based at ISSER. During this event, the collaborative work CACCI-Ghana has been doing with Policy LINK, another USAID-funded activity, was highlighted alongside lessons learned from other pilot countries in Africa.
