Alfred Godwin Adjabeng is a Ghanaian development consultant, climate and carbon markets specialist, social entrepreneur, and doctoral researcher whose work bridges governance, climate finance, and education. He is currently a PhD candidate in Development Studies at the University of Ghana’s Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), where his research focuses on carbon markets, institutional design, and climate equity

Alfred holds two master’s degrees: an MA in Governance, Development & Public Policy from the University of Sussex’s Institute of Development Studies (IDS), where he was a Chevening Scholar, and an MA in Development Studies from the University of Ghana – ISSER. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast

He is the Founder and Executive Director of School Farms, a Ghana-based nonprofit transforming school environments through its CENS+ model, integrating climate education, nutrition, and skills development. He is also the Founder of Africa Carbon Watch, an initiative established to safeguard integrity, transparency, and equitable benefit-sharing within Africa’s emerging carbon markets.

Alfred has served in senior leadership roles with Bridge Carbon (formerly C-Quest Capital), overseeing carbon project integrity, MRV systems, and Article 6 implementation across Sub-Saharan Africa. With over a decade of experience advising governments, NGOs, and regional initiatives, his work is driven by a central question: how can climate finance and carbon markets deliver measurable, equitable development outcomes for African communities?
