The State of the Ghanaian Economy Report 2020, COVID-19 Impact Reports launched

The State of the Ghanaian Economy Report (SGER) 2020, the 30th edition, has been launched. The Report was launched at a colourful event held on 2nd November at the ISSER Conference Facility under the chairmanship of Mr. Kwamina Asomaning, Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Ghana.

“We must congratulate ourselves for consistently producing this report for 30 years,” ISSER Director Prof Peter Quartey said as he acknowledged the authors, past and present, for their hard work.

The SGER is a comprehensive and independent eight chapter report discussing performance of the various sectors of the economy, with an optional chapter focusing on a relevant sector or topic of the economy. The optional chapter of the 2020 edition is on COVID-19 and Social Interventions in Ghana.
