Urbanisation and spatial restructuring continue to shape Ghana’s development challenges—from infrastructure strain to governance reforms and migration dynamics. This cluster examines how cities evolve, how regional spaces are governed, migration impacts, spatial development and how institutions shape spatial equity. It brings together scholars in urban studies, planning, urban geography, regional development, development studies, sociology, economics, public policy, engineering and environmental management.
