The Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana is set to commission a new multi-purpose building. Known as the ISSER Office Complex and Digital Centre, the building comprises eight offices with a kitchen and a gym,  a 100-seater computer laboratory or data centre, three conference breakout rooms, and an ultra-modern library complex.

Prof. Peter Quartey, ISSER Director said: “The Office Complex and Digital Centre is an important addition to the built spaces of ISSER. It affirms our progress in realising our goal of continually augmenting the Institute’s facilities and resources for optimum performance.”

“I thank the management and staff of ISSER, as well as the contractors for their support in the planning and execution of this project.”

The contract for the construction of the 10-million Ghana Cedi facility was awarded in September 2019, wholly funded from the Institute’s internally generated funds.

It adjoins and augments the capacity of the existing ISSER Conference Facility, which continues to serve as a choice venue for meetings and conferences, and indoor/outdoor events.

The Office Complex and Digital Centre will be commissioned on a soon-to-be-announced date.
