Esther Maame Efua Aryee is a Research Associate at Nova Business School Africa in Ghana. She earned her Master of Philosophy degree in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology and BA in Psychology with Linguistics with First Class Honors from the University of Ghana. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies at the ISSER department, University of Ghana. Esther was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Blueprints for a New Economy Fellowship run by Oxfam and Professor Grieve Chelwa between May 2025 and February 2026. She has also served as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Ghana Business School between 2022 and 2023. With over three years of experience in research support, teaching, and academic writing, she founded Maafua's Writing and Creative Hub, demonstrating her entrepreneurial commitment to knowledge dissemination. She has engaged with financial consultants on projects run by international organizations such as GIZ, USAID and local institutions like the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Finance. She has a published article in the Journal of Organizational Psychology and is passionate about producing additional pieces that focus on organizational health and development, gender and corporate governance. Esther leverages psychological theories and data analytics to inform organizational interventions and educational strategies to build institutional resilience. Looking ahead she aspires to strengthen human capital wellbeing through advanced research in development studies and meaningful engagement with policymakers, fostering sustainable organizational growth across African and global contexts. She volunteers her time on a quarterly basis with the Hope4All Youth Program, offering career guidance, counselling services and academic support to students in Senior High Schools in Ghana. Esther enjoys discovering new concepts and spending quality time with the youth.
