Vicentia Quartey is the Head of the Communications Unit at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), where she supports the Institute’s communication strategies and contributes to major research initiatives, including Future of Work, ReFinD, and the Environment for Development (EfD) Ghana. An accredited member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, she focuses on making complex research accessible to a wide range of audiences.
Before joining ISSER, she served as Programme Manager at the High Commission of the Commonwealth of Australia in Ghana, managing development grants across nine African countries. Bilingual in English and French, Vicentia brings experience in strategic messaging, stakeholder engagement, and media relations. She is dedicated to connecting research and policy communities, believing that effective communication can help translate research insights into practical, sustainable development solutions.
