The Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) held a media engagement session on the 2026 Budget Statement, providing expert, evidence-based analysis and actionable recommendations on the Government's fiscal performance. Organised as part of ISSER's longstanding commitment to enhancing public understanding of national economic policy, the session afforded an open and independent platform for the Institute to contribute to ongoing discourse on the 2026 Budget presented to Parliament on 13 November 2025.
The Director of the Institute, Prof. Robert Darko Osei, led the session with a comprehensive presentation synthesising key insights and assessments from ISSER's experts across both the Economics and Social Divisions. His presentation highlighted fiscal trends, policy implications, and priority areas requiring attention to strengthen Ghana's fiscal and socioeconomic outcomes.
