Prof. Quartey addresses questions from journalists during the post-event interview session
On August 3, ISSER hosted the media for a review of the 2022 mid-year budget statement and economic policy of the government.
Consistent with the objectives of the post-budget statement review activity by ISSER, the event provided a platform for an objective and independent analysis of the government’s account of national fiscal performance, and the sharing of evidence-led information and recommendations.
The event, which was attended by representatives from nearly 15 media outlets, alongside officials from industry and academia, featured a presentation by ISSER Director, Prof. Peter Quartey and an interactive session involving the Head (Dr. Isaac Osei Akoto) and members of the Economics Division of ISSER, and participants.
